We also develop high throughput screening assays in cultured cells. Our Surefire® platform provides a new generation of high throughput homogeneous assays of signal transduction pathways, for the assessment of pharmaceutical drug candidates for kinases & receptors, and these assays provide a cell-based environment for assaying modulation of receptor activation & can also be used to measure responses of intracellular kinase inhibitors for drug discovery. In our Alphascreen® Surefire® kinase assay detection system, the detection of activated kinase is enabled by immuno-capture of endogenous phosphorylated protein in cell lysates.
