Profile: International Stem Cell Corporation develops human stem cell lines that eliminate the rejection of transplanted cells by patient's immune system. We also develop a process to derive stem cells similar to embryonic stem cells without the need for fertilized embryos and with minimal exposure to non-human cells. Our somatic cell nuclear transfer can create cells that have the same genetic makeup as the animal receiving the cells.
