Profile: Eureka Genomics is specialized in generating various types of sequence data on a genome analyzer IIx. We analyze the quality of illumina sequencing reads. This allows quick assessment of the quality of the data, and includes graphs presenting tile-by-tile, nucleotide-by-nucleotide, and cycle-by-cycle distribution of cluster densities, nucleotide frequencies, and quality scores. This information can be used to determine if some tiles should be removed from further analysis, and/or if trimming (cutoff) of sequencing reads should occur. This report can also be used for the identification of various sources of sample contamination such as unintentional sequencing of adapters, or PCR primers used in sample preparation.
