Profile: Enzyme Development Corporation provides enzymes. Our starch hydrolyzing carbohydrases applications are production of corn syrup, ethanol, baking and brewing. Our non-starch carbohydrases are those enzymes which hydrolyze polymers made up of six carbon sugars but do not include amylose & amylopectin degrading enzymes. Our enzyme adjuzyme® is a liquid saccharifying amylase derived from Aspergillus niger for production of fermentable sugars. Our cookerzyme® is a bacterial enzyme system derived from Bacillus subtilis for the rapid hydrolysis of starch adjuncts. It is available as a powder or liquid.
