Profile: Chimerx provides molecular weight markers, DNA purification systems, ligases, polymerases, RNA purification systems, and reverse transcriptases. Our DNA modifying and related proteins include alkaline phosphatases, DNA replication assay kits, T4 polynucleotide assay kits, and thermophilic pyrophosphatases. DNA ligase catalyzes the formation of a phosphodiester bond between duplex DNA fragments with cohesive ends, and condenses the 5'-phosphoryl group with an adjacent 3'-hydroxyl group. Fluorescent-labeled DNA Ladders is used for genotyping and gene sequencing procedures. It is used with ABI PRISM™ genetic analyzers.
