Wide range of products with most common grading are available on each item. It includes Synthesis grade, Extra pure grade, GR grade, ACS grade. Grading for special application such as HPLC grade, Pesticide grade, Electronic grade, Biochemistry grade, Histology and solvent for Trace Analysis etc. The purity grade helps us to classify the large variety of reagents that exist in the market. Purity grade is expressed in the product name by means of a quality denomination that follows to the product nomenclature (i.e. 'Guaranteed Reagent' or 'Extra Pure'). Several quality denominations are common to all manufacturers but, in addition, every manufacturer creates its own quality denominations for specific applications.

Cyclodextrin sulfates are cyclodextrin derivatives in which a majority of their hydroxyl groups are sulfated and have been shown to possess potentially important biological activities similar and sometimes superior to those of heparin. Because both cyclodextrin rims are surrounded by negatively charged groups, cyclodextrin sulfates interact with positively charged drug molecules such as chlorpromazine and gentamicin. Recent interaction studies of cyclodextrin sulfates indicated that both hydrophobic and electrostatic interactions take part in the complexation.

Synthetic peptides' use as immunogens has proved to be an important route for the production of antibodies to previously uncharacterised proteins. Once the oligonucleotide sequence of a gene has been determined the amino acid sequence of any protein encoded by that gene may be predicted. Peptides selected from such a sequence may then be used to raise antibodies that may prove cross-reactive with the native protein. Many antibodies to proteins have been raised for the first time using this approach. The synthetic peptide approach to antibody production has several advantages over other methods. For example, the antibodies may be raised to specific areas of a protein in order to probe biochemical function or to block normal biological activity. It is also possible to raise antibodies to peptides from regions where the sequences are conserved between members of a family of closely related proteins so as to produce pan-reactive reagents. Conversely, antibodies specific to individual members of protein families may be generated by careful selection of unique amino acid sequences.

Taurine, or 2-aminoethanesulfonic acid, is an organic acid. It is also a major constituent of bile and can be found in lower amounts in the tissues of many animals including humans. Taurine is a derivative of the sulfur-containing (sulfhydryl) amino acid, cysteine. Taurine is the only known naturally occurring sulfonic acid. Small polypeptides have been identified which contain taurine but to date no aminoacyl tRNA synthetase has been identified as specifically recognizing taurine and capable of incorporating it onto a tRNA. Taurine functions in electrically active tissues such as the brain and heart to help stabilize cell membranes. It also has functions in the gallbladder, eyes, and blood vessels and appears to have some antioxidant and detoxifying activity. Taurine aids the movement of potassium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium in and out of cells and thus helps generate nerve impulses.

Theaflavins are a flavonoid found in tea. Theaflavins are considered the active ingredient in the fight against high cholesterol. Theaflavins are produced as green tea ferments into black or oolong tea. In addition to fighting cholesterol, theaflavins also support lipoprotein metabolism. Theaflavin often works with the other polyphenols in tea to protect and enhance the body's functions Theaflavin derivatives have been found to have more potent anti-HIV-1 activity than catechin derivatives in laboratory investigations.

Tissue culture is often a generic term that refers to both organ culture and cell culture and the terms are often used interchangeably. Cell cultures are derived from either primary tissue explants or cell suspensions. Primary cell cultures typically will have a finite life span in culture whereas continuous cell lines are, by definition, abnormal and are often transformed cell lines.Medium requirements: (often empirical)A. Bulk ions - Na, K, Ca, Mg, Cl, P, Bicarb or CO2 B. Trace elements - iron, zinc, selenium C. sugars - glucose is the most common D. amino acids - 13 essential E. vitamins - B, etc. F. choline, inositol G. serum - contains a large number of growth promoting activities such as buffering toxic nutrients by binding them, neutralizes trypsin and other proteases, has undefined effects on the interaction between cells and substrate, and contains peptide hormones or hormone-like growth factors that promote healthy growth. H. antibiotics - although not required for cell growth, antibiotics are often used to control the growth of bacterial and fungal contamination

Triclosan 5-chloro-2-(2,4-dichlorophenoxy)phenol) is a potent wide spectrum antibacterial and antifungal agent. This organic compound is a white powdered solid with a slight aromatic/phenolic odor. It is a chlorinated aromatic compound which has functional groups representative of both ethers and phenols. Phenols often show anti-bacterial properties. Triclosan is only slightly soluble in water, but soluble in ethanol, diethyl ether, and stronger basic solutions such as 1 M sodium hydroxide, Triclosan can be made from the partial oxidation of benzene or benzoic acid, by the cumene process, or by the Raschig process. It can also be found as a product of coal oxidation.Because of its antibacterial properties it is an ingredient in many detergents, dish-washing liquids, soaps, deodorants, cosmetics, lotions, anti-microbial creams, various toothpastes, and an additive in various plastics and textiles. However, the safety of triclosan has been questioned in regard to environmental and human health.

Chemicaly diethylenetriamine is converted with a dicarboxylic acid (for example Adipic Acid) into a polyaminoamide. The polyaminoamide is subsequently cross-linked with Epichlorohydrin. The resin gives mechanical strength to the paper tissue under wet conditions and the absorbability of the paper is not affected.Applications for wet-strength resins include paper towels, weather resistant packaging, milk cartons, frozen food packages and vegetable boxes. Products requiring immersion in water such as photographic paper, filter paper and certain textiles in hospital bed sheets and gowns are areas where wet strength is important. Diethylenetriamine N-Aminoethylpiperazine and Triethylenetetramine are appropriate Ethyleneamines for use in wet-strength resins.

Xylene is commonly used as the water-immiscible solvent. Requirements for a xylene replacement in this application are that the solvent must be inert under typical esterification conditions, exhibit a suitable minimum boiling azeotrope with water, have a high auto-ignition temperature and produce resins with the proper molecular weight distribution profile. A mixture of dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether (DPGDME, CAS# 11110%77-4) and an aliphatic hydrocarbon was shown to be a suitable replacement for xylene. DPGDME is a non-HAP, oxygenated solvent that has a suitable boiling azeotrope with water and la compatible with common resin monomers.

Cyclodextrins make up a family of cyclic oligosaccharides, composed of 5 or more ?-D-glucopyranoside units linked 1->4, as in amylose . The 5-membered macrocycle is not natural. Typical cyclodextrins contain a number of glucose monomers ranging from six to eight units in a ring, creating a cone shape. thus denoting: α-cyclodextrin: six membered sugar ring molecule β-cyclodextrin: seven sugar ring molecule γ-cyclodextrin: eight sugar ring molecule Cyclodextrins are produced from starch by means of enzymatic conversion. Over the last few years they have found a wide range of applications in food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries as well as agriculture and environmental engineering. .
