This antibody reacts with the 165, 189 and 121 amino acid splice variants of VEGF of human, to a lesser extent, mouse and rat. Our antibody mammaglobin, a member of the uteroglobin family, is a 10kDa glycoprotein. mammaglobin mRNA expression is breast tissue specific. It is overexpressed in human breast cancer. The use of mammaglobin RT-PCR has been demonstrated to detect disseminated breast cancer.
