Profile: Aqua Bounty Technologies, Inc. is a biotechnology company that focuses on the improvement of productivity in aquaculture. We develop advanced-hybrid salmon, trout, and tilapia designed to grow faster than traditional fish. We develop products to address critical production constraints in the most popular farmed species, focusing initially on salmon, trout and shrimp. Our AquAdvantager fish program is based upon a single, specific molecular modification in fish that results in more rapid growth in early development.
